I think there is both kinetic and gravitational potential energy in the world because things in the world move around and things stay still also. Kinetic energy is when you move around all over a lot of things move around in the world, like for examples cars, people, pets, etc. The world also has gravitational potential because all the things that stay still like trees, etc this is why the world has both gravitational potential and kinetic energy.
